Dainty stand for this beautifully unique, spalted slab of Spotted Gum timber. Once upon a time, wood with these type of markings would have most likely been cut up into trash wood and burned in the fire place!
 
New mediums like introducing Epoxy and a stylish stand are giving new life to these slabs.
The stand made a with a platform, to keep those knick-knacks off the top and show off the
beautiful, naturally occurring lines and colors in
this slab 100% of the time.
 
You can also flip the top and get lost in the other side, the structure and how this slab has
developed over the years, and natural occurring spalting.
 
Now, we can enjoy this in front of the fire place
and not in the fire place.
 
Slab finished in Rubio Monoco pureC2 Hard wax oil.
Frame is powder coated by Jagercoatings for a very durable hardwearing finish.
